Accountability is a wonderful thing.
There is nothing better for helping someone reach their goals.
But, accountability requires constant monitoring, and who has time right?
There is nothing like a daily phone call from someone you respect, checking in to see if you have done what you said you were going to.
Or, just as important, haven't done what you said you wouldn't.
Personally, when I have someone I'm helping stay accountable for something, I make them call me.
That works pretty well for a week or two, and then they start "forgetting" to call.
I try to remember to call them and follow up, but pretty soon the onus is on me to check in daily, which is more than I signed up for.
So here is where keepaccountable.xyz comes in.
You are the mentor and the person you are helping be accountable is the protégé.
You can work with someone who wants your help (your protégé) to set some goals.
You can then enter those goals into your account on keepaccountable.xyz.
Send them an invite through the system that asks if they want to signup for the goals you've entered
If they accept, the website will send them emails to ask how they are doing
They answer, and if they have slipped up in anyway, you get notified.
You can then give them a call and help them get back on track.
The cool thing is you don't have to remember anything and neither do they.
They just have to respond to the email, and of course be honest.
Oh and if they don't respond to the email, you get notified!
Of course they can cancel at anytime, but if they do, you get notified!
